CUBAN RHYTHM - a 3-year old filly by champion sire KINGMAMBO

She was bought in America for $170,000 and is in training with ROGER CHARLTON at his beautiful Beckhampton stables

KINGMAMBO has sired no less 311 winners of 883 races who have won over $18,500,000 in prize money. They include top class European fillies, DIVINE PROPPORTIONS & RUSSIAN RYTHMN. KINGMAMBO was a winner of the French 2000 Guineas and won £463,400 in prize money. KURNAKOVA (our filly's dam) is by SADLER’S WELLS. She won as a 2yo at 8 & 9 furlongs and was placed at Group level.

What an encouraging performance from CUBAN RHYTHM first time out at Nottingham 18/10/07. Although a little slow out the stalls and green around the bend, she took it all in her stride and was only beaten by a more experienced horse who was given a much harder ride. Jockey Steve Drowne reported “she is a really lovely filly and I did not give her a hard race. A little green but there is a lot to look forward to next year” Speaking to Roger he too was happy with her run “she is absolutely fine - eaten-up, sound and only lost 4 kilos. First time out on soft ground a horse could lose up to 12-15 kilos so it shows she did not have a hard time. 	Roger Charltontrains at the historic stables of Beckhampton House, the home of no less than 10 Derby winners. In 2006, among his 90-horse string, Roger trained 20 horses for Her Majesty the Queen and 26 for Prince Khalid Abdulla. Owners are always made welcome at Rogers. At a stable visit earlier this year, some of the fillies owner's saw her working on the gallops - as you can see CUBAN RHYTHM was happy to pose for pictures afterwards!
