A wonderful day at Royal Ascot

South Cape having won earlier this month at Folkestone, 2 June 2007, was entered in the £55,000 Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

South Cape ran a big race to finish 5th of the 27 runners. Unfortunately he had a terrible draw from stall 1 as high numbers were favoured thought the meeting.

We all had a wonderful day and it was made all the better as most of the owners backed South Cape at 25/1 with Ladbrokes or Bet365 and they paid out to fifth place!
