Prima Fonteyn - a filly by Imperial Dancer

PRIMA FONTEYN is by IMPERIAL DANCER, out of FLYING WIND (who has produced four winners) bears a strong resemblance to her Sire - looking powerful and tough - a good requisite in any racehorse.

A winner of 11 races including a Group 1 and £438,726 in prize money. He was also placed in no less than seven Group races.

PRIMA FONTEYN is a half sister to four winners and is well related through her 2nd Dam HANDY DANCER. She has produced nine winners which include Group 3 winners KARINGA BAY, a leading NH sire who won Group races from eight to twelve furlongs, and ROLL A DOLLAR.

TRAINER SHEENA WEST

This powerful filly has been in full-training since February (previously with Mick Channon) and certainly knows her job when she puts her mind to it! She is a strong minded filly who went over 6 furlongs initially but is sure to want further with time as her breeding suggests.

PRIMA FONTEYN is now back in full-training after a short break and due to be back racing under her new trainer in November.

Sheena West has already enjoyed a fantastic season, with plenty of winners on the flat and over jumps - including a Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham!

She also has an incredible record of turning somewhat underachieving horses into winners - our very own Tobago Bay (who not only has improved from nothing on the flat but has enjoyed 2 races and 5 places out of only 7 outings) being an outstanding recent example.

Other success stories include:

* Kalmini: A winner of 2 races from 5 starts after leaving previous trainer.
* Captain Cloudy: Ran 33 times without a win, but once moved to Sheena went on to win 3 out of 6 races and went up 14lb in the handicap.
* Hamsomelle: Previously running in Sellers with a handicap rating of 49, ran in Listed races and reached 73 when in her prime with Sheena.

Maybe it is the individual attention each horse receives or that each training day is different thanks to 1500 acres of land to ride over but the results do speak for themselves. Be part of the action!
