EYE FOR THE GIRLS is a younger half
brother of SOUTH CAPE and is a two time winner. He only has one eye
which has made things difficult for him at times but is a lovely
big strong horse and Mick Channon has gradually worked out what the
horse needs to perform at his best. He likes a straight track,
softish ground and needs room around him for his enormous stride.
He won at Yarmouth as a 3 year old, and ran a great comeback race
at the start of the 2010 season to finish a close second under
Kieron Fallon. He has gone on to be much more consistent this
season with several placed finishes and he got his much deserved
second win at Hamilton on 23rd August.
After three seasons on the track EYE FOR
THE GIRLS has run his last race for Heart of the South. He has been
given a fantastic new home and we wish his new owners the best of
luck.
