Show Jumping Partnerships - New for 2008

Established in 1993, Heart of the South have been running successful horse racing partnerships for hundreds of happy Owners who wanted to enjoy the thrill of ownership without the costs normally associated with owning racehorses

With the delivery of medals for Great Britain at the forefront of everyone’s mind, the BSJA in conjunction with UK Sport implemented a Performance Pathway programme, which allows for a strategic approach for the sport to have best chance to achieve this.  Part of the programme saw the creation of an Evolution Squad consisting of horse/rider combinations identified as having British Team potential.   One of the riders quickly identified and selected for the squad was Justin Tuff with whom Heart of the South have aligned with offering show jumping enthusiasts a unique opportunity to own a share in a show jumping horse.

Experience the thrill of owning a Champion show jumping horse and assist in the delivery of medals for Great Britain.

Justin Tuff has had an amazing couple of years producing some outstanding performances in the following classes:

  • 2008 - 4th place in Gold Tour 1.45m class - Toscana Tour, Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy
  • 2007 Winner of Area Trial and Grand Prix – Royal Cornwall
  • 2007 – 2nd place in Winter Premier Grand Prix – Patchetts Equestrian Centre
  • 2007 – 4th place in Renault Grand Prix – Royal Bath and West
  • 2007 Best of British – Grande Premio Turismo de Portugal 1.55m - Vimeiro O C, Portugal
  • 2007 – 2nd place Acoreana Seguros 1.45m 10,000 Euro prize fund - Lisbon CSI04*, Portugal
  • 2007 – 5th place Prova 3 Adubos de Portugal 1.50m 117,500 Euro Prize fund
  • 2007 – 4th place – Moorsele Belgium
  • 2005 Winner of the Royal Bank of Scotland Championship at Bath & West
  • 2005 Winner of the Horse and Hound Foxhunter Masters

With the London 2012 Olympics only a matter of 4 years away, Equestrian Team GBR British chef e’equipe Derek Ricketts has advised Justinto show consistent performances in Grand Prix and Area Trials and gain experience in International events.

 In October and November 2007, Justin took Derek Ricketts advice and competed in Portugal, France and Belgium finishing in the money at every show.

Maria Clayton, Head of Communications at the British Show Jumping Association said, “Attracting new owners to our sport and adding depth in respect of horses being produced is pivotal if we are to achieve our goals.  The welcome news of such a well established organization from the horse racing environment bringing syndicate ownership of horses into show jumping can only bode well for the future of our sport as a whole and we are thrilled that Heart of The South identified our discipline as the one they felt worthy aligning with”.
